Marta Puzia is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of California. From a young age, Marta was destined to work in accounting. She has always enjoyed problem solving, analyzing, and creating structures. In college she used these strengths to earn a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Statistics and Econometrics and a Master’s Degree in Accounting.
Marta began her accounting career at PwC, one of the “Big 4” accounting firms, in the area of Corporate and Partnership Taxation, and worked in their Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco offices. After leaving public accounting Marta worked in taxation at the large, publicly traded, private equity firm, KKR, in their San Francisco office. She focused on taxation and accounting for private equity funds and limited partnerships.
Almost a decade ago, Marta took steps to create her own finance and accounting firm that focuses on helping individuals and small businesses with their tax and accounting needs. Marta greatly values the relationships she has with her clients. Marta’s goal is to build a strong connection with each of her clients and to help them optimize their business and personal tax situation.
In Marta’s free time she enjoys putting together puzzles, exercising, skiing, and traveling. Marta, her husband Arek, daughter Natalie and their two rescue dogs reside in Walnut Creek CA.
